The frequency used to transmit electricity varies between countries.

North America uses a 60 hertz frequency system. Europe uses a 50 hertz system.

Individuals who travel between countries that use different power line frequencies will need to convert the filters in their WaveRiders.

Each WaveRider has its filter frequency marked on a label inside the battery compartment.

Filter boards are sold in sets of two. A WaveRider 2cx will require one set of two filter boards. A WaveRider Pro will require two sets of two filter boards.
